Responsible for driving both core industrial processes as well as auxiliary systems such as compressed air generation, ventilation and water pumping, motors are critical to nearly every industry on the planet. In UNIDO\u2019s experience, motor-system optimization can significantly reduce an individual plant\u2019s energy consumption. Using expert insights and case studies, UNIDO\u2019s MSO training details how industries can take advantage of the vast untapped potential for energy efficiency in electric motor-driven systems including fans, pumps and compressors. fabrication, metal finishing etc.); food and beverages; rubber (tyres, gloves etc.); textile and apparel; mining (tiles, porcelain, roofing tiles, cement etc.); consumer products; paper and printing; pharmaceutical and herbal; chemicals and paints; polymer (packaging, plastic goods, PVC etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing industries using electrical energy as an energy source;<\/li>\n<li>Specifically motor systems in use (including pumps);<\/li>\n<li>Maximum 2 participants per company (engineering\/ science backgrounds are highly encouraged);<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to industries having motors larger than 37kW and with monthly electrical energy consumption of more than 50,000kWh;<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to commit to the level 7) (preferably electrical engineering or mechanical engineering);<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry and at least 2 years in energy auditing \/ MEP designing \/ motor system maintenance;<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in English;<\/li>\n<li>Computer software literacy and Microsoft Excel proficiency;<\/li>\n<li>Current and future commitment of work in motor
